Our family (including my husband Rich, our two boys Noah and LIam, and even our dog Snooki) love all of what AFC has to offer. We’ve enjoyed tennis, float nights, grill nights, snack bar and foosball. But our favorite thing is the community and friendship on and around the pool deck throughout the summer.
Becky Mohr
The Mohrs have been members of AFC since 2009, and some of the Tigers’ biggest swim nerds since 2014. It’s a rare summer day when one of the Mohrs is not at the pool. Between swim and dive practice, coaching, refereeing meets, and relaxing at Float & Grill nights, we ensure fun is being delivered at AFC and the lifeguards always have someone guard.
Christine Wilson
Christine grew up swimming in the NVSL and fell in love with summer swim. She was a past AFC swim team rep. Her boys enjoyed a few years of swim team and tennis before they became dedicated to rugby. Her son Ronan can be find working in the snack bar and lifeguarding. She enjoys adult swim and family dinners at the pool.

We have been members for 12 years and our two kids, now both teens, have enjoyed Swim, Dive, Tennis and even Lifeguarding at AFC. I love that the club is part of the neighborhood. As the Treasurer, I am responsible for the club finances. I am a certified accountant and have worked in accounting and finance for more than 20 years.

My wife and 3 kids have been members at AFC for about 10 years, taking advantage of events and programs like swim lessons, swim team, and Float and Grill nights - but the kids love visiting the snack bar and foosball table the most.

Our family (Paul, Sylvie, Zoe and Mia) joined AFC in 2008. Our daughters swam on the team for over 10 years, with Mia eventually becoming a Coach. They were part of the Dive team for a few years as well, and we all loved the Family Dive meet. We also helped plan events like Pie Palooza & the Pickleball Tournament and are now excited to serve on the Board.

We have been members of AFC since 2006. For most of those years we have had at least one (if not all three) of our kids on the swim team. We love the fact that the AFC community is a wonderful extension of our neighborhood and of the kids’ school friends over the years.
